In Chrome, make sure you're actually on then tap the three-dot menu, scroll down on the menu that pops up, and select Request Desktop Site. In Safari, tap the aA icon on the top left and select Request Desktop Site. To get that, you'll need to load the desktop version on your mobile device. When you fire up on mobile, the camera icon for Google Lens does appear in the search bar, but it doesn't offer the same search options-it'll ask you to look at something with your camera or access images from your camera roll.
